resolution causing Office trouble

Matt

Hi folks,
I am using a Toshiba Satellite with Win XP SP2 and Office 2003 Pro updated.
I get document distortion at my optimized resolution. I have it set to 1280 x
800 and this causes characters only in Office to go bold, rounder, and larger
making it difficult to see. However nothing in the settings for the document
changes from the last computer to be working on it. When I bring my
resolution down to 1280 x 600 it behaves normally. Is there a resolution
limitation in Office? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers AND the
system. I have even put it in Safe Mode and then messed with the resolution,
but the issue still exists as before.
Thanks!
Matt

LCD screens have a native resolution. If it's set at something other than
that, you may find that things just don't look right. I'd suggest looking up
your specific model and see what it says.

Well the native resolution is the highest one. But Office behaves improperly
above 1024 x 768. Does this sound familiar at all?
