resolving conflicting appointments

I have just reinstalled information from a repaired PDA and synched into
Outlook on the desktop. The problem is that all the appointments have
duplicated! How do I resolve conflicting appointments without deleting each
one?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
