resolving names

bob

In outlook xp when I type the first few letters of a name
in a new message I want it to resolve the rest of the
name. This saves me some typing.
Where is the setting i need to change to make this happen?

Thanks

It doesn't have this feature. Outlook does cache the addresses you've used
before. You can also use CTRL+K to resolve the names (ALT+K if you use Word
as the e-mail editor)

look in tools, options, email options, advanced. Near the bottom, check the
box for automatic name checking so that after you tab of the field a partial
name will attempt to resolve without pressing control+k. Add a check to
suggest names - this remembers people you've sent to before and it comes up
as you begin typing.
