I am having trouble with the resolution of images in all Office Products, and
it is most recognizable in Internet Explorer. I am using Microsft Office
Professional Edition 2003. When I load a page in Internet Explorer the
pictures are grainy/pixelated, and menu items do not line up. When I load
the same page in Firefox the page is dislayed perfectly. This is not only a
problem in Internet Explorer, but also in all Office Applications. For
example, when I launch Microsoft Outlook, and then select the Outlook help,
the Image at the top of the help menu is also pixellated.

Firefox like adobe uses a unique driver for
displaying pdf's.

how is the resolution in safe mode?

The resolution in safe mode is the same. FYI I forgot to include this
before, but I am running the latest version of office with all updates as of
10/9/06 - I made sure I was up-to-date before posting.

ok,
then you should focus on the
drivers for the display/video/vga

have you checked the settings in the properties
via right click on desktop ?

if so, have you check if your standard
vga driver is functional in device manager?

if the above have been doubled checked
and you do not have specialty video cards
installed, then a windows repair with
your windows setup cd should take care of the
problem.

as an additional suggestion, before rebooting
to setup with the cd, boot into your cmos/bios and
check if you have an option for amount of ram/shadow
ram for the agp, if you have one.
