resource capacity

[Resource Capacity Planning question]

I'm not using the EPM yet but I have an mpp which shows the work and I can
see the remaining availablity but I'd like to see a total of work and
availabity by resource group. Any ideas of how to get that ?

You might try the following:

1. Click View - Resource Usage
2. Click View - Table - Work
3. Click Project - Group by - Resource Group
4. Click the Show button on the Formatting toolbar and select Outline Level
1
5. Right-click in the timephased grid and select the Work and Remaining
Availability details
6. Zoom the timescale to the level of zoom you wish, such as months/weeks

The Work column in the table on the left will show you the total amount of
Work assigned to each group. The Work and Remaining Availability details
will show you these values timephased at the level of zoom you select. Hope
