Resource Cost1 field on Resource Sheet

I've added Resource Cost1 to the Ent Global File.
I want to use Resource Cost1 to store a billable rate which is different than Std Rate. I want to do this on a per project basis. Eventually, i want a macro that copies all values in Resource Cost1 over onto Std Rate.

However, I can't store a value in that Resource Cost1 on a project that is loaded into PS2003.

I could store a value thru the Resource Global but this only gives me 1 rate across all projects. i need a field to store a rate/cost that is different for each project.

Is there any cost fields on the Resource Sheet that i can use to store a value for each and every project? Or how can i get the Resource Cost1 to work?

Couldn't you just use the the A,B,C,D... tabs under the
Resource Information, Costs tab?

Yes, but those rates are controlled globally at the resource level. That only gives you 5 different projects/rates. Then what....? your stuck and you may have to overwrite cost table A, when you cycle thru the other tables, which that person may still be active on or may have to do some future work against........
