Resource Graph View

I created a view so I can see the Resource Graph and Resource usage together
and it works fine except for one thing. When I open a project and click on
my custom resource graph, the resource names are expanded listing all the
projects and tasks. I would like to see only the names. Any ideas on how to
fix this? Thanks.

When you create a custom combination View, such as your View with Resource
Graph in the top pane and the Resource Usage view in the bottom pane, you
cannot automatically control the rollup of resource names. This means that
when you select a resource in the top pane, the Resource Usage view in the
bottom pane will automatically expand the resource's name to show the
resource's task assignments. Hope this helps.

Here's what I think Johnnie did to create the View:

1. Open any project.
2. Click View - More Views.
3. Click the New button.
4. Select the "Combination view" option and click the OK button.
5. Enter a new name for the View.
6. Click the Top pick list and select the Resource Graph view.
7. Click the Bottom pick list and select the Resource Usage view.
8. Select the "Show in menu" option if you want to see it on the View menu.
9. Click the OK button and then click the Apply button.

Of course, Johnnie can comment if he did something different. Keep in mind
the limitations of this custom View, as refrenced in Johnnie's original post
in this newsgroup. Hope this helps.
