Hi all
We're running 2002 and PWA.
We would like to assign tasks to various departments, allowing that
department to choose which team member will carry out the work.
We would like to allocate resources to a group called IT department
(say) which will go to a particular person with a valid email address
(either internal or external)
Is it possible to set this up, or would it be better to just create a
resource called IT department, and have that resource delegate the
task to the most appropriate member of that team.
There is of course the issue of resource cost to be considered too!
If this nominal resource called IT department delegates the task to a
team member, will the project manager be informed of this?
