Resource leveling and strange phenomena

We are using project server 2007
I encountered very strange phenomena.
When I am doing resource level on a specific project, some of the task’s
work field is being change to more than 1000 days (the initial work was 1 day)
Is it a known bug? Is it possible to fix files with such strange phenomena?

I do not know why
But, deleting those lines and adding it again, solved the problem
