I have about 20 projects using Project server 2003 and
Project 2003 pro...
I have a set of 8 resources that work on multiple
projects...what is the best way to do resource leveling
to make sure that the StartDate and FinishDate is always
current...are there any best practices? I will like to
be able to use the feature that integrates with your
outlook calendar...but for this to work, the
startdate/finishdates have to constantly be up-to-date,
and my understanding is that you never mess with the
dates. I am just starting out with PM, so forgive me if
this is too basic.
What is best practices when it comes to this? since I
cannot have my developers modify when they plan to work
on something...
One of the ways I have been thinking was if I could set
priority on all tasks across all projects, maybe that
will increase the efficiency of a cross-project resource
leveling?
thanks!
