I am having difficulty with Resource Levelling. Scenario is as follows:
User 1 has indicated that he will not be available between January 10 and
January 15th, using PWA. I had setup User 1 as a resource on a task in an
administrative project. This time has been approved by User 1's manager.
User 2 creates a task in a project, with User 1 being the resource. The
task runs from January 8th to January 12th. User 2 is not User 1's manager.
I was expecting MS Project to level the assignment around the time that the
resource, but it didn't.
You can see that the time requirement has been added together in the
Resource Assignments view.
I am pretty sure that this is a small setting somewhere.
any ideas?
