Hi
I need to be able to generate a single report that
1. projects we're engaged in,
2. the individuals involved in each project and
3. the number of days in the week that each person is
assigned.
This is a fairly standard output of a resource management tool but I'm
getting mixed messages about whether MSProject can do this. At the
moment we're using 2003 Standard but if we can argue the case for
funding we'll move to 2007 Professional & Server.
The o/p would look like this:
Project A wc5/3/7 wc12/3/7 wc19/3/7 wc26/3/7 wc2/4/7
wc9/4/7
John 5 4 4
2 2 2
Steve 3 3 3
3 3 3
Mike 1 1 4
4 4 4
Claire 5 5 3
3 5 5
Project B wc5/3/7 wc12/3/7 wc19/3/7 wc26/3/7 wc2/4/7
wc9/4/7
John 0 1 1
1 1 1
Steve 2 2 2
2 2 2
Jeff 1 4 4
4 4 4
Claire 0 0 2
2 0 0
etc.
My next step would be a report that shows availability. eg
wc5/3/7 wc12/3/7 wc19/3/7 wc26/3/7 wc2/4/7
wc9/4/7
John 0 0 0
0 0 0
Steve 0 0 0
0 0 0
Mike 4 4 1
1 1 1
Claire 0 0 0
0 0 0
Jeff 4 1 1
1 1 1
....but I'll tackle one problem at a time.
Any pointers or advice would be very much appreciated
Thanks, Steve
