I bought Office 2003 with my notebook a year ago, but only recently installed
Outlook 2003. After importing the settings from Outlook express, I was
surprised to find that there seemed no way to send/receive messages, so I
closed the program and it appeared briefly, yet disappeared.
I've read online that the issue can occur if there isn't a valid pop account
setup, so I tested the settings I'd entered and can confirm that the mail is
sent only from the 'accounts' screen. Send/Receive fails to ever appear.
The OPMLog.log shows only this:

It seems there's a software conflict, but I'm at a loss to troubleshoot with
so little information. I've disabled anti-virus software (common cause of
problems with just about everything), yet still have no success.
