Need to know the following:

Can a resource pool be incorporated into a template and
is it a good idea. If so what is the best way to go about
it?

Also, how can one set up a Resource pool report where
it shows the tasks as well as the project associated with
the tasks.

Appreciate any info provided.

It is possible to make templates with resources in the resource sheet.

Regarding your Resource Pool Report: The easiest way to get the Resource
Name/Task/Project info is to go to the [Resource] page, and click "View
resource Assignments". This displays the resource name, the project name,
and the tasks they're assigned to in the project. If you click the "View
Options" tab, you can display a variety of fields.
