Resource Pool

If I'm using a Resource Pool, when I go to Resource Usage, how can I tell
which project each task is for? In other words, I may have a Training task
for Project A, Project B, and Project C. But I'm unable to tell which
Training task is from Project A, which is from Project B, and which is from
Project C.

Thanks

Hi bgane,

Insert the [Project] field in the Resource Usage view to see what
project file the assignment comes from.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Perfect...thanks!!

Now, I've found that I have a couple of tasks that note a project that no
longer exists. Any idea on how to clean these up (it won't let me delete
them)?

You're welcome bgane and thanks for the feedback.

To the question about deleted project files. Open the resource pool
file with option #2 (full read-write access). Go to Tools > Resource
Sharing > Share Resources. This will open a dialog box that lists the
files that the pool is providing resources to. Select the deleted
files, click the Break Link button. Save the pool.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
