Resource Rates

Project Server 2003
We modify the hourly rates for our staff in the Enterprise Resource
Pool once a fiscal year. Since this will be the first time I need to
modify the rates, I am planning on entering an Effective Date of
7/1/07 and the new Standard Rate in the Cost tab for Cost Rate Table A
for each resource. If this is correct, how can I view the different
yearly rates in a SQL query? Again, I'm entering a new rate on the
Cost Rate Table A once a year for each resource. We are simple minded
people.

Thanks,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,
This is the correct way of doing it, however I don't know about the SQL
query, but I do know you can view the rates a PWA view.

Thanks, Ben, for responding. I added the fields Enterprise Resource
Cost1, 2, and 3, Standard Rate to a Resource view within PWA, however,
Enterprise Resource Cost1, 2, and 3 show $0.00. Only the current rate
appears in Standard Rate. What am I missing or doing wrong?

Thanks,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,
I don't think you are doing anything wrong, the fields for anything other
than the standard rate are not exposed via PWA. The standard rate shown is
the one relative to the current date, so the current rate in use is the one
that is shown. Looks like you need that SQL statement after all.
