Resource removed from task

When I remove a resource from a task this task still shows up on the team
members time sheet. It shows an "X" in front of the task. It will not allow
any time reporting to be done. My question is why doesn't this task get
removed from the team members time sheet? This would be cleaner and not
clutter up the team members time sheet.

What you are seeing is the default behavior of Project Server. The X
indicator shows that the task is a cancelled task for the team member. Team
members can easily hide a cancelled task by selecting the task and clicking
the Hide button. And yes, I agree it would be cleaner if the task were
automatically removed from the timesheet page. Hope this helps.
