Hi folks,
I am trying to create an automated room booking system, and I have a test
account which I am using as the resource. The versions of Outlook which
would access this resource are 2000, XP, 2003.
I have set up the resource to automatically respond to requests and refuse
conflicting requests; I assume all requests have to be done as meeting
requests. (is this true?) Permissions have been set to allow people to
edit or delete their own appointments but no others. Here is where it gets
wierd....I set up an appointment between 10 and 11am. I deliberately set up
a conflicting appointment 9.30-10.30 to see what happened. Sometimes the
appointment was declined but sometimes the appointment was accepted but put
into the resource calendar between 9 and 10.....the person making the
meeting request would see in their calendar that the meeting was 9.30-10.30.
Is this a known problem?
