I'm not making sense of % time a resource is booked for.
I have been given to understand that if I look at the % following each
resource's name in the resource column of a gannt chart, I'm
looking at his or her own split of personal time, not a split of time
shared with other resources on that one task. For example, if
Resource1 is 100% on the task, Resource 2 can also been 100% on that
task, because neither of them are working on anything else. Yet they
are both working on the same task. So with this understanding,
here's the question:
What I'm not getting is how this is parsed out day by day. If the
task lasts 2 weeks, a person might be working on that task only 25% the
first day and 100% the 2nd day but I don't see an entry for that
anywhere. Yet the Resource Graph is broken down day by day. This
obviously can demand complicated calculations!
And by the same token, how CAN I see the split on one task among
different resources?
