Resource uncertainty

Hello,

While planning if we already know that a resource is quitiing an
organisation and his replacment will be joining sometimes later, can we keep
a generic resource and baseline? once the new resource joins can we replace?

Or is there any better way to do this?

Yes, this is a valid way to do this, or you could replace the old person with
the new person. It doesn't really matter.
