Resource Usage in the MS Project Pro

Is there anyone know the meaning of red font in the Resource Usage (MS
Project Pro) time emphased data ?
I saw SOME total work assignment / resource / day with RED font= 8 hr/ day,
what is that mean ?
I presume the red font only for total work assignment more than 8 hr/ day.

Fyi, all resources always had 100% unit work (8 hr / day, 5 days / week).

Hi Leo,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Red fonts indicate that the resource is over-allocated. Scroll vertically
in the time phase area looking for another Red assignment at the same time.
If you can't find one, check all your summary tasks and delete any
assignments shown.

Leo,

The red font means the resource is overallocated. You can have a
resource scheduled to work 8 hours on one day be overallocated if you
have two tasks that are scheduled to occur simultaneously. For
instance, the resource is scheduled to perform two 4-hour tasks on
Friday. Task A starts at 10:00 a.m. and Task B starts at noon. There
are two hours (noon to 2:00 p.m.) where the resource is scheduled to
perform four hours of work. I would suggest you read the help files on
Resource Leveling.
