Resource Usage Not Communicating Between Schedules

J

Johnnie

I opened a schedule in order to view a certain resource and evaulate his work
load among the various schedules to which he is assigned. However, resource
usage is showing only work in the current schedule. I tried this with
several resources and all reflect the same data, currently open schedule only.

Does anyone have an idea what may be causing this to happen. It worked last
Friday (08/21/09) when I last review work loads.

I use MS Project 2003.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Just to eliminate an obvious one, but the "Load Summary Resource
Assignments" box on the Project Professional log in screen is still
checked right?

Mark,
Thanks for the reply. Not sure how to check this feature as MS Project
Server automatically comes up as it is linked to my windows login. Can you
point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Johnnie,

I am using Project Pro 2007, but it's the same as in Project Pro 2003:

1. Start Project Professional 2003.
2. Go to Tools > Enterprise Options > Microsoft Office Project Server
Accounts
3. On the Project Server Accounts dialog, select "Manually controll
connection state" and click OK
4. Exit Project Professional (all the way out).
5. Start Project Professional 2003 again. This time you should have a
login dialog box that allows you to select the sever you want to log
into or if you want to stay local and not log into the server. There
will be 2 checkboxes on that login and one will say "Load summary
resource assignments" Make sure that one is selected.

Hope this helps,
