Resource Usage Report anomaly

Hi,

This is regarding MSProjectPro2002
on Windows XP Pro SP1

I'm using the Resource Usage report to see
the % allocation per person, per task
on a monthly basis which sums for a total
allocation per month. The anomaly I'm encountering
is, for example, though a person is allocated 50%
on a task from 9/1/03 through 8/31/04 via the
Gantt chart, the report indicates
Sep '03 - Jun' 04 @50%
Jul '04 @30%
Aug '04 @0% !

Instead of Sep '03 - Aug '04 @50% !!
This obviously is a critical error that throws the
person's % totals per month off.

I'm trying some things (like resetting values)
but thought I'd get this out to see if any one
else has encountered this issue or has any ideas.
