Resource Usage Report

Simha

Is it possible to generate the Resource Usage Report for a given day.

I have already tried with Project->Filter->More Filters->Date range.

But still when I clike Resource Usage view -> File -> Print Preview, it
displays for

the whole project duration. Here I expect the display for just one date or
date range

Thanks in advance

Dear Simha

You can use Reports.

click View -> Reports -> Assignments -> Click Select -> click on Who
Does What -> Click Edit -> in the defintion tab select period as days
and select the count and click ok. Click Select Again to view the
report. Report will show daily task for the resouce. You can use as
many options available in the customize report tab.

Click Task Usage -> File -> Print Preview

now you are in the Preview mode

On the left-hand side (left panel) you see Resources with Tasks assigned
to them. On the right-hand side (right-panel) the the Work / Actuals grid
is there, all that I want here is details for a given day or range of dates,
instead of
the entire project duration (Staft-Finish)

That's all I want

Hi Simha,

You can select the date range to print in the Print dialog box (File >
Print) by setting the dates in the Timescale portion. Depending upon the
zoom in the Resource Usage view and the layout of the printed report
(portrait or landscape) you can get close to what you want.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie
