Resource View showing red on hours (need to level)

In resources view i have resources whose time is showing red and telling me
i need to level day to day... yet i cannot see why they need this.

I thought maybe it was leveling hour by hour, but it is already set to Day
to Day.

For example 7 hours listed for 3/18 and no other tasks for the user. Very
strange.

Yeah this does not seem to be pertinent in my case as i do not have times
specified...

What is the resource's max units set to?
