Resources and subcontractors

What is the best approach to work with tasks that are assigned to a
subcontracting company.
We want to include the task in our project plan and use the company name as
resource name when assigning the task.
Should I use local resources or is there a better way ? I read that it is
not recommended to user local resources that can cause spooler errors...

Marco --

Since your contractor company will not be using Project Server, you can
certainly create the contractor company as a local resource in the project.
Refer to the following link for the steps needed to avoid the Spooler errors
in connection with the local resource:

just open local resource properties and set Workgroup to None.
This will avoid spooler errors.
