Resources disappearing from resource pool

I am using MS Project 2003 (stand alone). I have multiple project files that
map to one resource pool file. Recently, I'm having an issue that I open up
this resource file and many of the project files that have been mapped to it
disappear. I.e., they are no longer connected. I've tried disconnecting
everything and redoing -- but within a day or two many become disconnected
again.

Any ideas?

Hi,

File owners may have performed a save as with the pool open; that changes
the connection address in the popol.
You can verify that by doing Tools, Resources, Share resources in the pool:
that shows the connected files.

Still have a look at the Share resources wndow in the pool.
Which files does it show?
