Resources in different location

Hi,
I have divided resources in two location based on two departments by using
RBS as following.
1-----Networking
2-----Development

Heads of each department can see only their resources and assign tasks to
them in their projects.

Now the problem is if Development department needs to use the resources of
Network department then how this will be accomplish?

Any help will be highly appreciated

If your organization will need to use cross-departmental resources, then the
department heads should be placed at a higher level in the RBS structure.
For example, you might have an RBS similar to the following:

Corporate
Networking
Networking Team
Development
Development Team

In your current situation, you probably have placed the managers at the
Networking and Development levels of the RBS, which would allow them to see
only their team members. However, if you have the need for
cross-departmental staffing of projects, even on an occasional basis, you
should place the department heads at the Corporate level of the RBS. This
would allow them to see all team members from both groups. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale!
Is it possible that once resources are assigned to a project some how a
notification could be generated. for example if a resource from network is
assigned then network manager may know this through e-mail or any other way.
