Resources lookup question

Hi,

I have the following RBS implemented in the Global Enterprise:

Level1: CIO
Level2: VP IT Ops
Level3: IT Managers
Level4: IT Resource
Level2: VP Development
Level3: Dev Resources

Currently I am conducting the pilot managing projects for the IT ops
department.

My question goes: I need to allow IT Managers to see the resources they
manage (no problem on this one) and I need IT resources to see their peers
within the same IT Manager area; I have been able to see some of the
resources but not all of them.

Both IT Managers and IT Resources are defined within the Project Managers,
Team Members and Team Leaders groups.

Project Managers group has access to the My Projects Category as well as to
another Category and I have created for each IT Manager in which I have
granted permission to the following:
* Users or groups in this category can view all projects they manage.
* Users or groups in this category can view all projects they are assigned
to.
* Users or groups in this category can view all projects managed by
resources that they manage.
* Users or groups in this category can view all projects assigned to
resources that they manage.

Can someone let me know why the IT Resources cannot see each other?
Am I asking to much from the RBS functionality?

Unfortunately, the RBS works as a (below the current level) no (At or below
the current level) in the way it restricts users from seeing other users.
Therefore, you are expecting more than the RBS is designed to deliver, but,
IMO, you are not expecting too much. Microsoft is delivering too little in
this case.
