Resources out of alignment

I'm trying to view assignments across a group of generic resources in order
to see how the team is allocated.

1. In resource Center I select 4 developers: Developer A, Developer B,
Developer C, Developer D and then click "View Availability".
2. I then see the graph for all resources grouped together.
3. I choose "Assignment Work by Resource" view
4. Graph shows 5 series: Developer (blue), Developer A, Developer B,
Developer C, Developer D
5. Only blue "Developer" series shows in the chart - it's not seperated by
resource.
6. Unclicking the grouped "Developer" resource removes the series, clicking
the other resources has no effect other than changing the graph scales.

Also:

1. I click 1 generic resource in Resource Center and choose "View resource
assignments"
2. It shows me not one but 3 completely different normal resources and their
tasks

I think this may be related to the "delete resources": script provided by
Microsoft. I ran it to delete my resources and then entered new resources.
It looks as though some tables have orphaned references to old resource
names or ids and don't reflect the current situation. Feels like I need to
clear out all resource information except for the main user table.

Anyone know how to fix these problems?

Dave:

If you used the delete resource tool incorrectly, you may very well have
corrupted your database. If this is the case, I'd say your best bet, if it's
possible in your situation, is to save all your projects to a file, make a
backup of your enterprise global, and then rerun the database creation
scripts and rebuild your database.
