Ressources doing overtime, end milestone not updated...

I have a resource scheduled at 20% on a task, so 1 day per week, for a 5 days
job.

I am lucky, this resource was free and completed the task in the same week,
so he was working 100% on the task

Why is the end milestone is not updated to show that the project will finish
sooner? If the guy worked at 100% but he were sheduled at 20%, I think the
project will finish 4 days in advance?

Thanks

I am sorry, the last sentence should be:

"If the guy worked at 100% but he WAS sheduled at 20%, I think the
project will finish 4 WEEKS in advance? "

Hi gueb,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

When the task was completed, try entering Actual Work and set Remaining Work
to zero. Provided you have no constraints set on the milestone, it should
come forward as you expect

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
