Restore content from partial recovered word file

Hello!
I have a partial recovered password protected word file which I'm trying to
restore some content from. The file is from a hard drive with lots of bad
sectors, the file has about 70% of the clusters intact. The header and
footer
is complete, some clusters at the end of the file is completely missing. I
know the password for the file.

Opening the file with "Open and repair" in Word, using OfficeRecovery for
Word or
trying to open the file with Open Office has not helped this far. Is there
any chance of getting some information out of this file?

By using a third party tool that is capable of reading & manipulating the hd
sectors content.
I have used such many years ago to recover a word doc, it was I recollect an
early version of a Norton utility

The online technical community doesn't provide support for the corrupted/damaged Word documents. Thanks so much for your understanding. If
possible, backup the important documents to an external drive so that you can recover it when such a corruption occurs.

If the methods above still don't work, I think you can try some
professional services. You may try Advanced Word Repair at
http://www.datanumen.com/awr/ This tool is rather useful in salvaging
damaged Word documents.
