'restore down' button disabled

I recently uninstalled Office 2000 and reinstalled Office 97. Now when I
run Microsoft Word 97, the 'restore down' button in the upper right hand
cornor simply causes the window to dissapear. When you right click on the
task bar icon at the botton of the screen, you find that the 'restore down'
selection is missing. Is there some way I can get this feature back?

Thanks.

The reason the window disappears is that it is offscreen. Open any other
window, then right-click on the Taskbar and choose Cascade. Once you can see
the window again, use the mouse to move and size it to your preference, then
quit Word. When you restart Word, the window should be where you left it.

Thanks Suzy.... it worked! For future clarity, you might want to mention
that you should right click on a BLANK section of the TaskBar to find the
Cascade Windows option.

Yes, I usually do specify blank (or "empty")--just got in a hurry this time.
