Restore Down Button Doesn't work

I am a new Access 2007 user. Have installed Office SP2. When Access runs,
it opens in full screen mode. (Maximized) While I can minimize it, I cannot
use the Restore Down button to run it in a window. Any ideas why this is?

I wonder if you are being confused by A2007's "tabbed documents" mode. It's
not really maximized, just displaying all forms as tabbed documents. If
that's what's going on, click the Office button, then Access Options, and on
the Current Database tab, check "Overlapping Windows" instead of "Tabbed
Documents".
