Assuming you have not modifed the Gantt Chart and Entry table in your
Global.mpt file, you can restore the Enterprise Gantt Chart View and
Enterprise Entry Table by doing the following:
1. Click Tools - Enterprise Options - Open Enterprise Global
2. Click View - Table - More Tables
3. Select the task Entry table and click Copy
4. Rename the table as Enterprise Entry and select the "Show in menu"
option
5. Click OK and then click Close
6. Click View - More Views
7. Select the Gantt Chart view and then click Copy
8. Rename the view as Enterprise Gantt Chart
9. Select Enterprise Entry as the Table in this view
10. Click OK and then click Apply
11. Click Tools - Organizer
12. Select the Views tab
13. In the list of Views on the right, delete all non-enterprise Views
(such as the Gantt Chart view)
14. Click the Tables tab
15. From the list of Tables on the right, delete all non-enterprise Tables
(such as the Entry table)
16. Click Close
17. Save and close the Enterprise Global
18. Exit and relaunch Microsoft Project Professional
Steps #13 and #15 are very important to avoid polluting the Enterprise
Global with non-enterprise objects such as the Gantt Chart view and the
Entry table. Because these objects already appear in each user's Global.mpt
file, they are NOT enterprise objects and should NOT appear in the
Enterprise Global file. Because the Enterprise Gantt Chart view and
Enterprise Entry table are true enterprise objects, they most definitely
need to be in the Enterprise Global file. Hope this helps.
