Restore mail databases after Windows reinstall

Had to reformat/reinstall Windows 98 and Outlook Express 6
this week.

I have all my old e-mail, stored in *.dbx files from
before the reformat. I can't get OE6 to see these files.

The Microsoft Knowledge Base (Q283205) tells how to
restore these folders with OE 5.0, but the option listed
there ("Import mail from an OE store directory") does not
exist in OE6.

How do I restore these *.dbx files?
