Restore not working

Am having a hell of a job converting an AK2 database to Aceess 2010

Many of my forms have a DoCmd.Restore on the OnOpen event of the form.
However in the Access 2010 format, the forms always appeared maximised. Also
most forms have a maximixe & minimize button. These do not appear in Acccess
2010, only the close button. What am I missing. Am I too old to start
learning a virtually new language?

I don't have A2010 on this machine, so I can't tell you exactly where the
Options are, but you need to turn off the tabbed form interface and turn on
overlapping windows.
