Can I use the works suite 2003 CD from my newer laptop to to restore my
workds suite 2002 on my desktop? I have the correct key to the laptop, but
not the software.
I also had Office XP standard for students on the computer. Again, I saved
the key, but can't find the disk. Can I borrow a disk and use my own key?
Does it have to be the student edition?
(I have read KB 326246. One disk (works )was from the manufacturer, one
disk was a retail purchase (office). I am trying toget back to work faster
than waiting for the mail. I took my computer in and they had to do a clean
install of Windows XP. They only restored programs that I brought in the CDs
