Restore Word 2000 menu ??

Somehow I managed to delete "Tools" in the main menu and don't seen
to be able to restore it,File Edit etc are there. Help is not very,
and if I right click on the main menu, go to customize, commands tab
Tools is there , but if I select it none of the buttons become active
and there doesn't seem to be a way to add it back to the main menu.
Any pointers greatly appreciated

Bring up the Customize dialog again, and go to the first ('Toolbars')
tab. Highlight 'Menu Bar' in the list and click Reset. Leave
Normal.dot as the template and click OK.

If that doesn't do it, try renaming Normal.dot, then reopening Word.
