restore

I use Windows XP Sp2. I can set a point to rstore the system, but it
disappeares after some days. What is wrong?

Albrecht,

Do you have enough free disk space on your drives for System Restore? Is
there any information on the System Restore sheet tab providing additional
information or a "Disk Cleanup" button?
Could there be 3rd party maintenance programs running that might be deleting
files on your machine to keep it "clean"?
