Restoring previous version of Outlook

I need my previous version of Outlook to Sync calendar and tasks with my
handheld, so I didn't install Outlook 2003 when I installed the rest of
Office Professional 2003 Update. I thought I told it not to during
installation, yet the program still wiped out Outlook (and I hope not the
data).

How can I restore the program?

You don't need to restore a prior version - Outlook 2003 works perfectly
fine for synching with Activesync. I might add, so does the Outlook 2007
beta.

Thank you; my previous info was wrong, and yours was right on. I had no
problems with sync, and my previous data were intact.
