Greetings:
We are trying to figure out how to start archiving
completed projects so as to preserve the actual hours
entered on them, but to get them out of the view of most
users so that the tasks from these completed don't clutter
up their Task view (and so we don't have to have them do
the tedious work of hiding every task from these completed
projects).
Another goal of this would be to ensure that only certain
user groups would be able to see projects flagged as
compelted.
We have a custom field for our SDLC process where we flag
projects as compelted. We also have a procedure that
requires the owner of a completed project to zero all
remaining work hours.
I mention those two items in case anyone would see a way
to leverage them to create and control a category and/or
view.
