Restricting access to active projects

We have some active projects that are going to be consolidated into one
single new project. We want to keep our employees from logging hours against
the old projects.

Is there anyway to restrict their access to specific projects?

You might use a procedure such as the following:

1. Ask each project manager to process all pending task updates for each of
the four projects to make sure they are current
2. Save each of the projects as .mpp files
3. Ask your Project Server administrator to delete the projects from the
Project Server database

Once the project are removed from the Project Server database, team members
will not longer see tasks from these projects on their timesheets in PWA.
Using the four .mpp files, you can then combine them into a single .mpp
project. Once you have created the single project, you should import it
back into the Project Server database using Tools - Enterprise Options -
Import Project to Enterprise. Once you have imported it, you will need to
publish the project and then republish the assignments. Hope this helps.
