Thanks, I tried that and it did not help. I could not open any links included
in my emails. One point, I do have a router to network my kids pc, could this
create the problem. It seems that it started since installing it?
Thanks again.

Thank you for your assistance Christian. I have followed all your suggestions
as well as changed over to Internet Explorer instead of Netscape. I am not
sure which solved the problem as I was in the midst of changing browsers when
I got your last response, but I think the problem has been solved.
Thanks again.

Christian,

Have Outlook 2007 and in last couple of weeks lost ability to open links in
emails. Previous postings do not seem to apply to 2007 version.

Thanks

Thanks, Peter. I have followed each of the steps in the Slipstick article
without success--clicking Reset in the Advance tab, trying to set defaults in
the Program tab, and even importing a registry key from another PC.

Even though I try to set IE as my default web browser and Outlook as my
default email program, it keeps going back to Custom setting usimg my current
browser and email program. I cannot seem to get it to default to IE. BTW, I
am using IE8 and I remember another postion saying something about that.

Again, thanks,

Dick

Peter, uninstalled IE8 and problem gone. I hope IE9 corrects it. Thanks
very much. Dick
