Restrictions

When I click on links in email messages, I get the following message "This
operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator". I am a home user and have
presumably made some incorrect setting. Can anyone help ?

It could be that the emails are in your 'spam' or 'junk' folders in Outlook,
try moving the email to you 'Inbox'

This is what worked for me. Your mileage may vary.
1. Remove IE8. Its an update. (If you need steps holler.)
2. Download and reinstall IE8
3. Try email message again.

If no luck, do again but before step 2, download and install Mozilla Firefox
instead. Do step 3. If all OK, start from step 2 again. If all OK, decide
which browser you want to keep.
