Retained message in outbox

Using outlook 2002 - place a message in the outbox, shows in italics. Send
the message, and it is received by the recipient. However the message remaisn
in the outbox, does not move to sent messages. So gets sent again the next
time I send/receive !
Any ideas

Try increasing your server timeout value on the Advanced tab of your account
properties pages.
