Thanks again for the info, JoAnn. Problem is solved. I bought "Outlook
Recovery Toolbox" for $49.90 (well worth it) and was able to view my archived
messages via Notepad. From there I extracted the Product Key.

I've read it in posts. Search the archives of this group in Google Group.
I'll bet it's in there.

macmolly said:Thanks, JoAnn, but no...I keep the Hotmail account pretty empty. I don't
know anyone else running the Beta. That would sure help. I am
investigating
tools to recover the PST. I am able to import the outlook.pst into Office
XP, but the data I need is in an archive pst, and for some reason that
will
not import. Kind of a bummer....

I have made a major error, I beleive. After some serious machine
problems,
I
decided to do a clean install of my XP Pro operating system. Then,
while
re-installing the Office 2007 Beta 2, I realized that the product key
is
saved in, guess where?? Outlook 2007!!
I originally received the product key via a hotmail account, but I
always
forward the important stuff to an Outlook account.
Any way to retrieve this key??
Thanks.
