Retrieve erased presentations

I recently had a friend updating my computer. While
executing this, all of my information was erased,
including important Powerpoint presentations. I would
appreciate any information on how to find, and re-install
the presenatations. My email address is

Have you opened the Recycle Bin and looked for the files? Chances are good
that they are still there and you can just right click on them and select
Restore to get them back.

on the other hand if your friend did a clean install which
reformats the hard drive you certainly wont get your files
back.

If the bin was cleaned out then you would need to purchase
a restoration programme or get a specialist computer
engineer to try to reclaim the files.

Of course you will have backups of all your work files on
a separate disc to hand wont you , then all you would have
to do is drag and drop the files into place?
