Retrieve Parent Project ID

Hello.
i have written some code on the ProjectBeforeResourceChange Event. I am
checking some task values in that.
If i open a Project and open Enterprise Global from that project and
change a resource, my code executes but it cannot read the task of the Parent
project. It tries to read tasks in the Enterprise Global (. I have used
ActiveProject Object.
Any suggestions? I need to read tasks of the original project.
