Retrieving Archived e-mail

Thanks in advance for your help: I recently switched
laptops and archived my email inbox and sent items for
easier transfer. I have tried to both open and import the
archieved items back into outlook, but without any
success. Any advice?

What happens when you try? Do you get an error message? What version(s) of
Outlook?
